Altered Shabby Chic Bird House

Welcome back guys!  Thanks for popping by.

I've been pretty busy trying to keep up at work, since this is the busiest time of year for us.  So, I may not be posting much for the next few months, but I will certainly be keeping up with all the blogs I subscribe to.  I really enjoy reading each and every one of the blogs; and getting a little inspiration is a bonus!

Anyhow, I purchased an unfinished bird house several months back, but didn't really know how I wanted to alter it...  Well over the weekend, I decided to just dive in; and so here it is...  Hopefully, I've accomplished the look of "Shabby Chic"...








Supplies used:

DCWV - Songbird paper stack adhered with Mod Podge - mat
Recollection Boutique Fleur - Mulberry paper roses and leaves
Recollection Boutique Fleur - Lace embellishments - pale pink
Basic Grey - Opaline Designer half pearls - pale pink
DCWV - Doodlin' Around - Glitter rub ons (bird and flower)
JoAnn - Craft Essentials - Family rub ons (sentiments)
K&Company - Amy Butler - Chipboard Alphabet ("A" for Abby)
Ashland Signature Accents - Cottage Garden - white (colored with Copic YG97)
Tim Holtz - Antique Linen distressed ink
Glossy Accents
Hot glue gun
